The soprano singer Nazanin Ezazi was born in Teheran/ Iran. She received her basic musical training at the conservatory of Teheran. Her great devotion to singing led her to Vienna.
Nazanin is a versatile experienced artist, she is not only devoted to singing and piano playing, she is also a professional performer of the Iranian stringed instrument "santur" and of the Iranian percussion instrument "daf".
Since 2003 she pursues her dream of singing at the University for Music and Art of Vienna. Since autumn 2008 she studies opera singing with Prof. Margit Klaushofer, before that she received her singing pedagogy education from Prof. Maria Bayer. In 2007 she graduated from her academic studies of musicology from the University of Vienna.
In the course of various projects from the Viennese University she sang in several operas such as Mozart's opera "Figaro's Wedding", role: Susanna- Barbarina and in Mendelssohn`s masterpiece "Walpurgisnacht Traum", role Lili. In the year 2008 Nazanin sang in Georg Friedrich Haendel`s "Israel in Egypt" and in the Music society of Vienna as "Christina" in the modern opera of Herbert Lauermann.
Previous artistical cooperations took place with following conductors such as Ingo Metzmacher, Alois Glaßner, Ricardo Muti (Salzburger Festspiele) accompanied by the Viennese Philharmonics and Hannes Fromhund.
Nazanin has participated in concerts / operas and has sang in the most beautiful and important venues of Austria, such as the Viennese State Opera, the Music society of Vienna, the Burgtheatre in Vienna, the Palace Theatre of Schönbrunn, the Festival House of the Salzburger Festspiele, etc.
Her beautiful and stunning lyrical voice led and leads her consistently to exhibitions and concerts throughout Austria. Since 2010 Nazanin is the new member of the vocal group "The Three Iranian Sopranos".
